Weekend city break with baby Post Reply

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good place to go for a city break with a baby?

Would like to go in march when baby will have just turned 1. We were considering Rome but are open to other suggestions. We basically want somewhere that is not a nightmare to get around with a buggy and where children are welcome in restaurants and all the sights.

Would probably prefer to stay in an apart hotel type place as would find it easier.
