Thought I'd let you mum's know about a fabulous facial I had using Elaine's LaStone therapy to boot. No hot steaming, squeezing and sticky face masks. Perfectly relaxed, she used the most wonderful face oil (moisturisers are a thing of the past!), gentle massaging, laying hot and cold stones on my face, décolletage, back and arms, all the while, rehydrating, detoxing and repairing my skin. Plus I have a bottle of her Face Oil to take home with me.
The appointments are snapped up quickly, so if you fancy this beauty therapy, called ReCentre in Balham to get onto her list as soon as. I'm so glad I did.

Last weekend my husband (yes, you read correctly...) and I also enjoyed a LaStone facial by Elaine and we couldn't agree more with the previous post, it was heavenly.... It's not really a facial as you may expect or have had before in a beauty salon, but rather a combination of massage, tension relief, hot and cold stones and essential oils which has a wonderfully relaxing effect. I could feel myself drifting away as hot stones were placed on my face, under my shoulder blades, in my hands and Elaine worked the muscles in my neck, back, face and arms. The occasional cold stone is a bit of a surprise at first but really helps to get the blood flowing and my husband commented on how much my skin glowed afterwards. He was a bit skeptical at first when I made a booking for him as well but he loved it and he has also been using the essential oils you get to take home. We have both been clients of Elaine for a few years now and she has such a wonderful calm, attentive presence. She always takes the time to listen to what specific problems and requirements are and I have found her very knowledgable when I was suffering from pregnancy related back problems. Her massages have always worked wonders for us and we will be adding the facials to the list of "me" time treats!

I started seeing Elaine a couple of years ago for regular body massages which have been a God sent: they have become a necessity! I was therefore very curious to see what she could do to my face. I've just had my second facial and I am so impressed that I hope they will become a regular feature on her menu!
She uses cold and hot stones and manual techniques and the effect is surprising and deeply relaxing. My children commented on how relaxed I looked and how the furrow between my eyebrows had miraculously disappeared... Quite a few people also noticed my glowing skin. I am now using the blend of oil I took away with me religiously and my skin has never looked so good...

Totally agree with all these posts and the others!
After THAT facial, I started seeing Elaine for deep muscle treatments that have been absolutely brilliant for my back and shoulder tension. Much to my children's delight as I'm no longer a grumpy old so and so with them! Seriously though, she has a knack of really honing in all those crunchy bits and really loosening everything up. I almost feel a couple of inches taller when I leave
So excited that I've managed to get a booking this weekend for her facial (well, more than a facial) special offer. I'll be glowing for days....

Yes me too! I'm a nanny working in clapham and read the above reviews which prompted me to book the facial/massage with Elaine. I was not disappointed! It was the most relaxing experience, my skin felt great and Elaine herself is amazing. So professional and kind.
I had a big burn on my foot...and I had sprained my ankle the day before and on top of the facial she kindly treated my ankle/burn with special oils and lavender - and gave me some extra lavender to take away with me as well as my specially prescribed facial oil. Which is LOVELY.
She also gave me some fantastic advice on how to improve my skin which is been very helpful.
