Postby bbroxash » Thu Apr 03, 2014 2:28 pm

Hi - our daughter will be attending the lycee in Sth Ken from Sept and i'm looking for any advice on best place to live to avoid lengthy 345 route twice/day... anyone out there tried the commute from NPV? i think a move is on the cards...sigh

I see a lot of Lycee students at Clapham South station getting the tube to Sth Ken most mornings. They seem to all travel together and look out for the younger ones, but that may not be the case. The trip is only about 20 mins or so.
Could that be an option rather than the 345?

There used to be a lot going from Kew, where I grew up as it's direct on the tube. If you wanted to stay in Nappy Valley area then Southfields or East Putney would be a similar commute.

Hello,

I am a French mum and teacher and both my children go there. We live in Battersea and it's such an easy 20-minute commute. They can take the 345 or 49. My oldest sometimes rides his bike (going through the park and the less travelled streets).

Hope this helps!
