Wanted:new family to love, care and work for.nanny available!

Postby kgodles9 » Mon Apr 28, 2014 2:35 pm

Hi there!
My name is Katie, I am 26 yrs old, Australian (with EU citizenship) and have just arrived back to London after a 9 month stint back home. I am available immediately and looking for a new wonderful family to join in the SW London area in a live out position. I currently live in Tooting, that will change within the next 6 weeks, but looking to stay South West.
I worked for two different families in my time back in Australia. One a family of 3 children (ages 2, 4, and 6) with busy varying programs, and the other a single parent family of a two year old, mum also with a growing at home beauty and yoga business whereby I acted as a personal assistant when bub was asleep.
I am a dance teacher (adults and children) and musical theatre performer. I am happy, energetic, positive, productive, and entirely enthusiastic about children. Growing up with a large extended family, I have been taking care of my own cousins from babies to teenagers my whole life.
During my previous time in London (2011-2013) I created my own work schedule of nannying for several families, up to 3 children at one time from newborn up to teens with varying schedules and programs.
Depending on the ages of the children, my days involve school runs, preparing all meals and snacks, activities including swimming, playgrounds, picnics, library visits, play dates and homework/pre-school preparation with letters, sounds, phonics and numbers, and bath and bed times and evening babysitting.
I generally handle light household duties such as the kids laundry, keeping toy rooms tidy, kitchen clearing after meals and general errands such as groceries etc.
I am putting the word out there to families in SW London that I am available 2-3 (flexible) days per week (20-30 hours) including possible adhoc hours/evening babysitting. That being said, I generally do have loads of flexibility, can build this program of a few families and very amiable to change as I am so aware that family life changes! often! If you sound like my perfect match, I am waiting to hear from you!

Cheers!
Katie

Happy to provide current resume, reference contacts and copy of Blue Card and First Aid certificate upon request.

Hi Katie

We are a Scottish family and I have advertised for this role but I can be flexible on the cleaning if it's of interest as I appreciate you are a qualified nanny and not just a mothers help. Perhaps we could add another child of similar age to my toddler to the arrangement over time if this is something that appeals.

Kind regards,

Karen

Mothers Help required 4 mornings per week (7.30am - 12.30pm) in Wimbledon Park (District Line)

We have lovely 21 month old and 1 month old boys and are looking for someone to help the family in the mornings and in particular, help with our toddler.

Main duties would involve the following:
Help dressing children in the mornings and of course nappies throughout the day
Creative play with toddler and taking him to some play groups
Preparing lunch for toddler (normally just heating up food that's been batch prepared by us in advance)
Light household chores such as hanging out washing and keeping the kitchen tidy, sweeping the floors etc
Ironing of children' clothes as time permits

Skills /Qualifications required:
Fluent English (we have a preference for English as a first language but genuinely fluent English will be fine)
Relevant childcare experience & checkable UK references
Recent CBR check
Valid first aid course

Key attributes required:
Energetic, caring, creative and proactive with children
Responsible and trustworthy with good time keeping
Flexible to adapt the role day to day (some days we may need more help with housekeeping and others more help with children) and over time (the role will evolve as the children grow)
Clean and tidy
Non smoker
Flexible for extra hours babysitting

If interested, please email with your CV and references (I of course will only contact references if the role is agreed with you).

Dear Katie,

I just saw your quest for a new family. My name is Geraldine and I am mother of both a four year old son as well as a 2 year old daughter. In September 2013 we moved from Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Chiswick where we are currently still living.
I am looking for a non-resident nanny who would love to take care of our two children here in Chiswick.
After being home with them for 8 months I now have a 3-month-freelance job for May-June-July. It will be full time but I expect the client to be a bit flexible as it is freelance.
Our 4-year-old son goes to nursery, Mon&Tue from 9:00-11:45 / Wed from 9:00-15:30 / Thu from 12:30-15:30 / Fri off. Our daughter is 2 and stays home.
Reading your post, you look like just the sweet and loving nanny we are looking for. If this is to your liking, please email me on geraldinevanoversteeg@yahoo.com Our kids are fantastic, I am sure you will enjoy them as much as I do!

Thanks!! Geraldine.
