Titchy at Dean City Farm

Postby Googiesmum » Wed May 07, 2014 5:44 pm

I am not a regular poster on this site but I was so impressed with this 'Titch' class that I wanted to spread the word.

We were at Dean City Farm yesterday when this class was about to begin so we thought we'd give it a go. It is a 45 minute session with a mix of music, dancing, singing, bubbles etc (reminded me a bit of Gymboree) and I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

My kids are 2.5 and 10 months and they both really enjoyed it and it was good value at £5 and £3 for a sibling. It operates on a drop in basis so you just pay as you go and you can make a morning of it by combining it with a visit to the animals and a run around in the playground.

Toddler session begins at 10.30 and baby class at 11.30.

I want to 2nd this!!! The class is fantastic - we've been to Monkey Music and Sing and Sign and this is just as good and less pricey. Also it has a different slant than baby music classes as it's less just random singing and more about actions/songs/ideas and games based around a little theme. Really highly recommended and I speak as someone who has been quite underwhelmed by a lot of baby classes which seem to largely assume all babies/toddlers want is bubbles and a maraca. The class leader is SO energetic and really brings the ideas to life and gives lots of attention to little ones who seem to love every moment.
