I would be careful advertising on a website to get someone you don't know to come round to your house, while you are on holiday.... Or is that just my cynical nature?

I agree I would be nervous of letting someone in I don't know . What about getting a cheap irrigations system. For approx. 30-40 pounds you could get a timer and hose so probably not much price difference from getting someone in ….

I would not only be nervous about letting a stranger in but would also be nervous about letting that stranger know that I will not be around for a whole week...
