Looking for a website/logo designer

Postby balloonjane » Mon Sep 27, 2010 9:35 am

Hi there
Am wanting to totally revamp my business - in the form of a new name, new logo, new website - basically bring me up to date with a bang (ho ho). Can anyone recommend anybody who could assist with this project?
Many thanks, Jane (the balloon lady) :D

My website www.head2toemassage.co.uk was designed by www.purecalma.com (from Australia) so you can have a look and see what you think. Paulina the web designer has great ideas and is always just an email away to help with any problems. I can edit the content myself which is important with any website.
A cheap alternative is www.vistaprint.co.uk where you can get a simple website for free and also matching stationery!
Another person to try is Tracey at http://www.thesimplewebcompany.com/ who does great websites which don't cost the earth.
I'm sure there are lots of others out there but I hope this is some help. Mary :)

Hi Balloon Jane,

I cant let this one go by without giving both my designer and web developers the big thumbs up.
Of course you can see their work right here on the site :D

Both are local, wonderful to work with (believe me they have the patience of saints!) :)

Jon Kemp can be found at jonkemp@hotmail.com
Eight and Four can be found at kate@eightandfour.com

Please email me if you want any more info.

Hi Balloon Jane

No doubt your new website is fully up and running by now. In case it isn't or others are looking at this thread and hoping for more recommendations I would suggest talking to:-

http://www.boxstuff.com They really are a one stop shop and offer creative designs and clever web solutions. They generated my site http://www.swanlodgebarns.co.uk in an extremely short space of time given requirements and they genuinely exceeded my expectations !

Give them a call on 01983 241615. Sadly I'm not on commission !

Regards

We'd also thoroughly recommend Jon Kemp based in Balham.
He rebranded Independent mindbodysoul last year and designed our website ... a great designer and a great guy!

Good luck with the new look!

Hi balloon Jane,

I can highly recommend Tim Heard, at http://www.heardcreative.co.uk.

Tim has big agency experience but he's now working on his own, and can help smaller businesses. He's also based in the Balham area.

Good luck with your re-brand!
