Can any mums of 3 year old boys recommend any good toys as a birthday gift£20-£30ish?

1) anything related to Thomas the tank engine (trains, accessories, railway tracks, etc) and its great as you can just keep adding on as a parent afterwards.

2) Junior Lego/Duplo

3) Scooter/bike accessory

4) playdoh sets

5) if active/outdoorsy boy and they have the space, sports equipment (foldable football goal, tennis rackets, etc)

6) Any Disney Cars related toy

7) Fire engines of any description (avoid noisy ones unless you dislike the parents)

8) Toy garage

9) Puzzles

10) superhero stuff (though my boy was never into that)

Dressing up outfits are great - super heroes/ fireman/ doctors/ astronauts/ pirates etc.

Great for imaginative and creative play.
