My mum is arriving to London this weekend to give a hand with her granddaughter for a couple of weeks (initially) and would like to meet another grandma to practice her English or possibly doing a Spanish-English exchange.
My mum is 65 and has recently retired after being a Science teacher for 40 years. She’s been studying English forever, although her level is probably still intermediate
She would be able to meet after 7 on weekdays and any time on weekends, and although she doesn't live in London she comes to visit quite often.
This will be a first time for her having a ‘blind date’ as well, so any hesitant grandmas, just give it a try!
Lastly, we life in Tooting Broadway, so calling for grandmas in Tooting Broadway, T. Bec, Earlsfield, Wimbledon, Balham.
