French polisher

Postby meggsie » Wed Oct 20, 2010 2:46 pm

I'm trying to track down someone who can French polish the handrail on my staircase - my friend used an Italian man who was very reasonably priced but she's lost his details. Anyone heard of him? Or someone else?

I recently used a company called Osbond & Tutt in Earlesfield to come and redo a walnut vanity unit. At £260 for a days work I didn't think it was particularly cheap but I have to say they did a fantastic job. They arrived very early (about 7.30) and worked all day till it was finished. I think the chap's name was Steve and his number is 07850 431853.
