Great local carpenter recommendation

Postby tess73 » Tue Nov 04, 2014 2:54 pm

I can recommend a fantastic carpenter who we have used a couple of times for wardrobes/cupboards and a built-in bookcase - his name is Billy King (07814 492 755 or kingandparcel@gmail.com) & I found him through Annabel on this site, and his work is of a really high standard. He is also very easy company to have round the house - the kids love him, he's friendly/chatty, but doesn't feel the need to tell you his life story; very tidy/ cleans up after himself; reliable (i.e. turns up when he says he will) etc. Probably not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for, so I would say he is excellent value. Highly recommended.

We've just had Billy back to build some wardrobes and floating shelves and they are fab! Will post some pics when I have had them painted :)

Will be very interested to see your pics! I am just searching old posts an need to have fitted wardrobes in 2 of our bedrooms and looking for recommendations. I like the idea of having the majority of the work done off site so thinking maybe someone like spaced in, but interested in any views? Does the carpenter route create lots of mess?/How long does it take to fit a wardrobe?
Thank you!!
