Balance Bike by Islabikes - ideal Xmas present for toddler

Postby Super Dad » Sat Nov 29, 2014 2:10 pm

When our eldest was learning to ride with stabilisers she seemed to be losing confidence every time she got on her bike. Then a friend advised us to take the stabilisers off and the peddles so that she could push herself about and learn to BALANCE!

And so we were introduced to the concept of a balance bike... and it soon became clear how counter productive to learning stabilisers actually are!

When our second child was ready to learn to ride, we decided to buy her a balance bike and she was pushing herself around independently in no time at all.

Now that our second child has also advanced on to a peddle bike, her balance bike is to ready to pass on to someone else. But Islabikes are not cheap so I thought I would see if anyone in nappy valley wanted to give us £75 for it. It's in good condition and they go for a lot more on eBay... but I thought I would see if there were any takers in our little community first.

Here's the link to the ones sold new: http://www.islabikes.co.uk/products/bikes/item/rothan

You would be welcome to come and inspect ours and maybe even try it out, no problem at all. If you're interested, please just reply to this post.
