Timeframes for cleaning my house

Postby claphamnevey » Mon Dec 01, 2014 6:01 pm

Nappy Valley-ers....

I've just changed cleaners and the new one seems to get a lot less done in the time she's here each week... What would be reasonable for a three bed (master double and single/box room) plus 1 recep, 1 en suite, 1 bath and kitchen/diner?

I don't know if our last cleaner was wonderful and abnormally efficient or if this is very much a "how long is a piece of string?" question or if we just need a more efficient cleaner now...

You need a more efficient cleaner. The problem with cleaners is that people think it is a low-skilled job. It is not - a good cleaner gets the job done well in an efficient manner. Often paying better money is worth it. I suggest getting a different cleaner - personal recommendation is best.

Thanks so much, I wasn't sure if I was being unreasonable but this is great advice.
