Calling all parents with tiny toddlers. Struggling to keep the little ones entertained. We have something that may just do the trick.

We are pleased to announce our new Sporty Mini’s venue in the heart of South West London, The Balham Community Centre. We will be running 6 week winter taster sessions in the New Year starting Friday the 9th January. Toddlers aged 2-5 are all welcome to come and join in the fun.

What is Sporty Minis?

Sporty Minis is a unique physical development sports and fundamental movement skills programme that is currently being delivery to nursery children throughout London. Sporty Mini's is a great opportunity for young children to enjoy safe social and fun physical activities based around the ABC’s (Agility, Balance and Coordination) of sport


What are Fundamental movement skills?

Fundamental movement skills. What on earth is that? Fundamental movement skills are very important in the physical development of your child. These include Locomotor, Non-Locomotor and Manipluative Skills. They allow children to develop sport-specific and complex movement skills that in turn help them to enjoy sport and physical activity. Most importantly, having a firm grasp of the fundamental movement skills and being physically literate leads you child to have a long life enjoyment of physical activities.

Where? Balham Community Centre. 91 Bedford Hill, SW12 9HE

When? Every Friday between 9:30 and 11:30am. Parents are able to select which time slot best suits their tots schedule. Our SuperStar group are aged 3.5-5years and our Active Stars tots are 2-3.5yrs.

I would love my child to do this but she is already signed up to a pre school on friday mornings.

Will do...we can get a hall booking at St Luke's of nightingale Lane on Tuesdays between 1.30-5.30 however not sure if afternoons would suit many parents? We currently delivery most of our sessions in nurseries in the mornings

Great Idea thank you Ballymanu As soon as we can find a suitable venue we will lock in weekend sessions. We do currently offer sporty minis sessions in nurseries, therefore if you would like us to contact your child's nursery please let me know and I can arrange a free sporty minis trial session for all the children
