How old to try ice skating? Post Reply

I have a 4 year old and want to take her ice skating. However, I'm concerned as it would be very dangerous if she falls. I know I can hold her hand, but that doesn't stop someone else bumping into her....they can get crowded.

Is it best to wait a couple of years? Or am I being overly protective?

I just keep thinking heads and ice don't mix at all!!
