Abama, Tenerife - Advice on Going Half Board?

Postby hjm » Mon Dec 15, 2014 12:08 pm

Hi, we have just booked to stay at Abama in Tenerife for a week in April. At the moment I have just booked the room and breakfast but I am wondering whether to book half board. The price would be £630 for the week to add half board, which seems a lot for 7 meals (we are 2 adults and 2 kids age 2 and 5). I’m just wondering if anyone has been to Abama and done half board (or not done it and regretted it) and if so would you recommend doing it? I have heard that the food is expensive, but is it really that expensive?

Thank you

Hi,
Unless you have a hire car or bothered to grab a taxi there is nowhere else to eat and food is expensive at the Abama. Double check with whoever you booked it with as I am sure that the kids will get a free HB upgrade making it probably worthwhile - also check if this means they are restricted to the kids menu as this can be frustrating.
