Accounts Asst Required - Fab Job for Mummy!

Cupcake Mum is a private members club specialising in wellbeing and fun for all the family. We are a friendly club base in the Putney/Wandsworth area seeking a part-time Company Accountant. This position would particularly suit a mum looking to work around childcare.

Responsibilities will include:
• Monthly preparation of trial balance and the management accounts/reports, in time for monthly reporting
• Attendance at monthly management meeting to present/report on financial issues
• Preparation of papers and schedules for annual accounts, and liaison with Company’s external accountants
• Monthly Bank reconciliation
• Preparing cash flow forecasts
• Preparation and submission of VAT, and PAYE tax returns
• Produce annual budgets

We currently use Sage Line 50, but we're looking to improve our in-house systems and initial work to find and install new systems will be required.

The successful applicant may be qualified by experience, or part qualified. He or she will be a self starter, and have the initiative and ability to run the accounting unsupervised.

Excel and Word skills, together with knowledge of small business accounting packages will be essential.

The hours can be arranged to suit both the applicant and the Company’s needs. We have an onsite crèche and could come to an arrangement with Childcare if needed.

Must be able to work in the UK and hold relevant visa/ Passport.
