Permanent nanny wanted for a family with twin girls, BARNES

Postby GeorginaHook » Sun Feb 01, 2015 10:44 am

Summary

Experienced, reliable and caring live-in (ideally) nanny required for twin girls (aged 8 weeks) starting in February/March 2015.

Our Family/set up

We have two lovely girls and are looking for someone to help get them off to an excellent start in life. We are a happy, relaxed and caring family and are keen to establish a good routine of eating and sleeping times for the children. I am a lawyer working for a City firm and my husband works in Central London in advertising.

Ideally, the applicant would want to live in although a live out nanny would be considered. Twin experience would be a bonus.

We can offer an en suite top floor room (on it's own level) and use of a car if required.

The role

Until May/June 2015, the position will be shared care while mum is on maternity leave but thereafter the role will be a sole-charge position.

The hours of work would ideally be 7.15 a.m until 7.15 p.m 5 days a week. There would also be a need for extra babysitting from time to time (usually once a week).

Duties

- Assisting with establishing routines. As a first time mum, I am looking for someone who I can learn lots from while I am at home for the first few months and am keen to then be able to return to work having worked as a team to set up a good routine and lifestyle for the girls.
- Establishing relationships with other local families/nannies with children of similar ages
- Attending/arranging playgroups, playdates, activities .
- Bottle feeding the twins (ideally in tandem) and in due course cooking and feeding healthy meals for the girls.
- Doing the girls' laundry and keeping their toys/rooms tidy.
- Bath time

-We have a cleaner and so no heavy cleaning duties are expected - however some help with light household chores such as loading the dishwasher and keeping the kitchen/sitting room tidy would be expected.
Applicants must:

- have a genuine love of babies ands be capable and organised.
- have solid experience with babies.
-have CRB and first-aid documentation.
- be a non-smoker.
- speak fluent English.
-have a clean UK driving licence (desirable but not essential) Applications

If you satisfy the above requirements and you would like to apply for this position I very much look forward to hearing from you. Please send the following:
- CV (including your contact details and photo)
- Reference details
- Summary of why you are interested in this particular position and salary expectations

No agencies please
