Winter beach holiday with children

Hi we have a last minute week holiday early March and 2 children (4 and 1). Really looking for a week of sun, beach and relaxing time... Ideally all inclusive. Was thinking of Canaries Islands as it is not too far and want to avoid a 8 h jet lag... I am just a bit concerned of the weather is it too windy? Too cold? Which Island is best ? Well if anyone has recommendations about hotel with nice kids club or kids activities ... Thanks!

Can't advise on wind situ but can recommend Princessa Yaiza in Lanzarote.

A lovely choice for a family friendly hotel would be the Ritz-Carlton Abama in Tenerife. There's a kids club and you can even arrange a local nanny for one-on-one care, exclusively through Tots Too.

If you prefer self-catering, but within a child friendly resort, have a look at Hotel Suite Villa Maria, also in Tenerife, which is proving really popular.
