Wooden french door recommendations

Postby KEMS » Mon Feb 16, 2015 10:28 pm

Hello
We need a french door and side glazed panels replaced with replica wooden doors but double glazed. Can anyone recommend a joiner or excellent door company to quote for this job?
Thank you.

Also interested to follow this thread- I got a quote for this from one of the usual known suspects and keen for comparisons!

Hi
I know of a very good carpenter/joiner - he did a restaurant refit near Bromley (pics attached). I am sure he has other images if you want to see them and can also give you customer testimonials. He is Turkish - name Sercan. His English isn't brilliant but he is very experienced and skilled and charges a fair rate for his high-quality work. I know he builds staircases, doors, wine cabinets, bookcases etc for his clients as well as installing kitchens, floors, French doors, windows etc. He can be contacted for an estimate on 07588 695452.

Hi,
I know I'v recommended them on NVN before, but we used a small company with there workshop in west London to do our windows and doors and they are just fab.

They are called Chapel lane sash windows, but they also do doors. They were supper helpful, well priced and we had our order in about 3 and a half weeks weeks. I even visited the work shop when they were being made to go over design and colour etc, which I loved because it was so local.

Really cant recommend them highly enough.

We dealt with Patrick 07886957354
They do have a land line, but I cant find it at the moment.

Happy door shopping xxx

This is the FB page of the company I was recommending. There are lots of examples of their work here. Good luck!
