Family dogs - Viszla or labrador?

My husband and I are thinking about getting a dog and wanted some advice. I had a lab as a child but my husband is really keen on a Viszla. We have two children (1 and 3.5) and we are generally active to very active outdoors.
So what do people think is a better family dog for an active and outdoorsy family? Help us decide!

I vote for a lab! They are a great family dog and brilliant with little ones.
