Gwendolen House and Noddys nursery - reviews Post Reply

Could anyone provide any reviews, feedback or insight of any kind into Gwendolen House nursery or Noddys nursery (Gwendolen avenue) in Putney? I am struggling to decide between the two.

We have a daughter at Gwendolen and have only great things to say about the care, staff and nursery, our daughter is very happy there. We spent a lot of time looking at the putney nursery options & asking friends their experiences, Gwendolen came out top of the list. Outside space is excellent too - several of the others don't have very much space outside. That said we have several friends with children at Noddys & they are all happy too.

This reply may be a little late. We accepted a place at Noddy's a couple of weeks before getting an offer at GH. We were disappointed as GH was our first preference. We are now at Noddy's and have been unhappy with a few things. First of all an email was circulated to parents a couple of weeks ago informing us all of staff problems - high turnover and disgruntlement. This was news to us! The solution - an increase in fees outside the terms of the prospectus which shall apply from 1 September. I wrote to Noddy's and it took almost two weeks to receive an acknowledgement of my email. Still no full response or explanation. In addition to this, I have just dropped my daughter off for her first day and been told her key carer isn't in. This could have been communicated to us earlier and we would have changed her first day to a date when her key carer was in. So far, not so good. Feeling pretty anxious and unhappy.

I cant praise GH enough, they have been great for us. Evem if there were things that parents didnt like, they do listen to concerns and change things.
