Hello,
My name is Katrin. I am a 35 year old childminder in Tooting. I was graded by OFSTED as a good and I think I have very nice OFTED report too.
I will have 2 vacancies from July if somebody is interesting.
I live on SW17 0QH which is very close to Sainsbury, St Georges Hospital . I do Broadwater primary school pick up/drop off too.
I have 2 children (7 year and `15 month old) on my own and I live in 2 bedroom flat with garden.
Based on feelings of parents and smily kids I need to say that children love me and my enviroment. They are also happy with me and my way to deliver EYFS which I can support with very good references from them. I do courses on regular bases which I believe can help me to improve my childminding. I nearly finish studying level 2 childcare in South Thames College.
We visit playgroups with kids on regular bases (Smallwood, 1 Oclock club)-2-3 times a week and children love it! We go to Tooting library for Rhyme times and for a lot of crafts activities which is organised by this library. Also we make trips to surrounding parks e. g. Colliers Wood park, St Georges park or Garatt Park. As a treat I take children to Deen Farm or Battersea Park and Polka Theater. So we are pretty busy. We have also golden fish in our setting which is pampered by minded children of mine.
Children have cooked lunch (e..g lasagne, a lot of recipes from Anabel Carmels book). Parents need to provide nappies and wet tissues.
We have in the morning 1 hour of educational activities, and afternoon some outing around but depends a lot on weather conditions.
