Hello,
We are looking for an after-school nanny for our 6 year old daughter to start IMMEDIATELY.
We live near Northcote road in SW11 (10min walk from Clapham Junction station).
This is a permanent position till the end of the school year (17th July 2015) and that could be renewed for the next school year.
We are looking for someone who can commit at least till the 17th July.
The person we are looking for should be fun, energetic and trustworthy. Our main priority is for our daughter to be happy and safe with her nanny.
It would be a STRONG bonus to speak French as our daughter is bilingual English/French and has French homework.
Requirements:
- Be reliable
- Can commit to the role till the 17th July
- Have previous work experiences looking after young children - either as a nanny, teacher's assistant or au pair
- French national or Strong level in French would be ideal but not essential
- Good level of English
- Non-smoker
- Checkable references
- Have the right to work in the UK - relevant visa etc if not British/EEC
- Recent DBS check
- Valid first aid certificate and OFSTED registration will be a bonus
It would suit someone living locally as the school is only a 5min walk from home – no driving required.
Student welcome.
Duties include:
- School pick up
- Cooking healthy hot meals and clearing up after dinner
- Playing with our daughter and keep her happy and entertain
- Help our daughter with her homework (English reading & writing and her French homework too)
- Bath time and tidy time
- Light housework (e.g. filling and emptying dishwasher, keeping the kitchen clean, tidying our daughter’s room...)
The role is Monday to Friday during school term – excluding school holidays. The position is available for immediate start.
The hours are as following:
- Monday: 5:15pm to 7:30pm
- Tuesday: 5:10pm to 7:30pm
- Wednesday: 5:15pm to 7:30pm
- Thursday: 4:45pm to 7:30pm
- Friday: 3:15pm to 7:30pm
This is about 14 hours per week.
Salary dependent on experience.
