We are a friendly family with English parents, James and Annabel, and two children - a 3-year old boy and 1-year old girl. We're looking for a fun, clever Au-pair to join our household ASAP but are also happy to wait to find the right fit.
Your job will generally require 30 hours per week plus babysitting three times a week, one of which will be at the weekend. We will give you lots of notice though. I work three days a week usually Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday although this is flexible and I can work from home. We have a wonderful nanny who helps two days a week and until Wynie is older will be staying with us.
We are very close to central London (Zone 1/2) in a good-sized house with a back garden and just close to Larkhall Park and walking distance to Clapham Common or Battersea Park - and Stockwell Tube is about a five minute walk (30 mins to anywhere good in London!). You’ll have a sunny top-floor bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom shared with the kids, use of an ipad, sky and WiFi.
You will receive room, board and a weekly pay of around £90 depending on experience. You will get all public holidays and you will get 4 weeks paid holiday per year.
Responsibilities include:
- Get Atticus ready for nursery, take him, pick them up and take them to any activities
- Do laundry and keep children's bedrooms and play areas tidy and clean
- Light shopping, cooking children's meals
- Tidy up the kitchen and empty dishwasher
- Changing sheets and ironing for the whole family
- Eat with the Children.
We have a cleaner who comes once a week so there will be no serious cleaning. And I also do my fair share of homework, laundry, shopping, cooking and tidying up. It is not all your responsibility!

Requirements:
- Start soon and stay for a minimum of 12 months
- Over 20 years old
- Experience working with young schoolchildren
- Speak good English
- Non-smoker
- Checkable references
Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you,
Annabel
