Dedicated nanny from Germany, 25, looking for a live-in job

Postby mininini » Mon Jun 29, 2015 7:13 pm

Dear potential Family
my name is Janina and I am 25 years old.
I live in Germany together with my parents and my cat, Tinkerbell.
I finished my training last year and am a qualified educator/ nursery teacher now.
I work in a private english school as a nursery teaching assistant.
I love my Job there and I´ll probably go back in some years but I love to travel and make new experiences as well...I worked as an au pair twice already (in the USA and in the UK) and although it was just for a short period of time (8 weeks, 5 weeks) I did really enjoy it.

When I was about 15 I started babysitting and I still do it nowadays.
7 years ago I started to work in a summer camp in my summer holiday and I did this for 5 years.
I had the age group 6-7 and tried my best to make the children have a great holiday time with us!! (last three weeks of the summer holiday)

As I did my training for 3 years and didn´t get any money in the first two years I had to look for tiny jobs:
- I worked at a university and took care of the children, when their mummy or daddy had to teach at the uni, for a year
- I did babysitting
- I worked at a teaching school and tutored 2-3 times a week for 2 years, which I really enjoyed but I had to stop doing it as I started to work fulltime then.

While I did my training I did three internships.
One in a Kindergarten, one in a mother-child-house and one in the english international school.
As you can see I was able to gain experiences working with children/ young adults from 0 to 24 years.

Other things I love to do in my free time are:
- babysitting
- baking
- going for walks- as I love the nature
- photographing
- meeting friends

What else I can say about me:

- I am dedicated, enthusiastic, supportive, independent, cheerful and caring
- I am vegetarian for 9 years now but I don´t need anything special...I am happy with bread and cheese ;)
- I love animals (most of all my british shorthair Tinkerbell  )
- I have a godchild living in Africa for about a year now and it´s a great feeling being able to support this child and make his life a little better and easier
- I love London -> I was there about 10 times now  I love the shops, the people, the food, the supermarkets, the beautiful parks, Richmond park.....etc.
- I have my own car and a clean driving licence for 7 years now -->
I did drive in London already and would be willing to bring it in september
- I am really familiar with London and good places to take children (museums, parks, etc.)
- I have references to send you in private :)

If you have any questions please feel free to ask :)
Take care and Kind regards
Janina

Hi Janina
I am looking for a live-in au pair to start September to help with 2 children aged 9 and 5 (11 year old at boarding school). I need help doing the school run in the morning so you would be free from 08.30 and additional help picking up from school and supervision of homework and tea from 3.30 - 6.30. I have a cleaner so no household duties other than helping tidy the kitchen and kids rooms.
We live in Wandsworth, very close to the common, in a 6 bedroom house and you would have your own room and cloakroom although the bathroom is shared with the children. Oh, and I also have a 2 year old cocker spaniel.
If you are interested and would like further details please contact me.
Best wishes Kate

Hello! Are you still looking? Please DM me if so, our ad is below... Thanks
We are a busy mum and dad with jobs in the media, looking for a fantastic, energetic, loving au pair or live-in nanny to help look after our little boy (aged 1.5 years) and - after my maternity leave - our new baby, due November 2015, plus house-keeping duties.
We are moving to Earlsfield in September and would be looking for an au pair to start in Sept/Oct 2015.
The winning candidate needs to have plenty of experience with toddlers and babies, be bursting with love, fun and nurturing qualities, as well as reliable, trustworthy and happy to offer some flexibility with working hours.
Live-in, working Mon-Fri with one evening babysitting per week, and weekends off. Pay tbc. All accommodation/bills/food paid for.
We are looking form a fantastic, long-term relationship with the right candidate.
Could you be the person we are looking for? :D

Hi Janina
Would you be interested in doing some extra work- looking for a native German speaker to spend a couple of hours/ week with my 3- year old son and practise german through play. He has a good grasp of the language as dad is German .
Please let me know
Thank,you
