Rugby for my 5 year old

Postby LizG » Fri Sep 18, 2015 8:37 am

Can anyone recommend a rugby class for a 5 year old boy, at weekends?

My older son did Ruggerbeez but their website is inaccessible due to malware, their phone number is disconnected and their face book page has not been updated in over a year. It's not looking promising!

Thanks for your help

Under 5 - We start at 4, but not younger!!

Please don't build it up too much, some kids are into it at 4 and some aren't, but they may easily want to come back, so no pressure.

Most places have a junior RFC. My 8 yo started playing this year with H&F https://www.fulhamrugby.co.uk

They have very young kids up to adults. We play sundays at Hurlingham Park. It’s basically volunteer so maybe cost £120 for the year.

For £150 for a whole season(siblings are then £85 ish), Ironsides offers great value and is a very well run mini's section.

We have tried other rugby places and think this works the best for getting the children into rugby
