Roundhouse Kitchens

Postby mummy2-3 » Fri Nov 13, 2015 5:08 pm

Hi wondered if anyone has used Roundhouse for their kitchens, see they have a GORGEOUS new showroom on Nightingale Lane and expect they will come at huge cost, interested in hearing any feedback from those who have used Roundhouse and whether they are that much better than the midrange alternatives.

My friend got a new kitchen from them about a year ago. It is absolutely gorgeous. The overall look and finish, the interior finish, the drawer mechanisms, clever drawer/storage designs make it feel like such a high quality product. It was however very expensive, had a long lead time and when it was all due to be installed there were a few issues (some items had been damaged during delivery). There was quite a long wait for redelivery so it took several months from the initial order to it being completed. It is stunning though, I do swoon over it!

I was talking the other day to a friend who has Roundhouse. 6 years down the line, even if there is a small problem, they are there to sort it out at no cost. She is making some modifications to the kitchen and they've been really hands on.

We had a Roundhouse kitchen installed about 3 years ago. Super design, excellent installation and fantastic quality. You do pay for all that though!

My view is that you get what you pay for. They aren’t cheap but the build quality is superb and they are really built to last. The attention to detail is excellent and I've got more space to put stuff in than I thought possible – makes it difficult to find an excuse for untidiness though! Mine is 8 years old and hasn’t dated a bit, it looks as if it were installed yesterday and still draws admiring comments, and that's with two boys banging around in it everyday. Love it! :)
