Perfectly located four bedroom chalet in the middle of Nendaz, part of the Verbier ski system. The chalet is only 10 years old and is located in the centre of town on flat ground with all the facilities, plus the ski lifts, within very short walking distance. Being central and on flat ground means access is never a problem, even after heavy snowfall. Nendaz is an extremely family friendly resort and a little less glitzy, and hence less expensive, than it's big brother Verbier. However, the ski systems are linked by an excellent lift system.
The chalet has two doubles and two twins and will sleep 10 as there is also a pull out bed and an additional mattress. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and overhead shower and one with a shower, plus a large well equipped kitchen-dining room and a spacious separate living room. In addition, there is an integral garage with direct access into the chalet and also a large area for changing into ski gear plus a laundry/drying room. There are lots of games and DVD’s plus a TV with 100 channels and, of course, Wi-Fi. To the side of the chalet is a large garden with two patios for sunny days.
Nendaz has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants and all are easily walk-able. The biggest supermarket in the resort is a mere 150m away. There is also an ice rink facing the supermarket and a fantastic Wellness Centre (Health Spa) opposite the chalet in the new Hotel Nendaz 4 Vallees which is wonderful after a day’s skiing. The children’s sledge slope is only 100m along the road and there are sledges in the garage. The children's crèche is only 50m away.
Nendaz is part of the 4 Vallees ski system with very easy ski access to Verbier, Veysonnaz, La Tzoumaz and Thyon. The ski area is enormous with over 400km of piste and almost unlimited opportunities for off-piste.
The chalet is already booked for the following periods:
Dec 12 - Dec 27, Feb 13 - Feb 21, Mar 26 - Apr 9.
