How long can home remodeling be permitted for?! Post Reply

We are the lucky neighbors to a home that's being renovated (she says sarcastically)- unfortunately for us by what seems like the most unprofessional and messy team of builders ever known to man- and I'm wondering if there are time limits on these kinds of renovations. Does Wandsworth Council put a cap on how long a project like this can go on? They've been hammering away since June and they don't seem anywhere close to being done. I checked online but can't seem to find an answer.

Not sure but...

Is it owned by neighbours or by by a developer?

If it's a developer then I think they'll less likely to be sympathetic, if it's a neighbour can you appeal to their sense of good neighborliness?

Owned by neighbor who moved and is renovating to rent out. We rent so I'm not sure they would be sympathetic at all to any request we make : (
