Short term nurseries

Good morning,
I was wondering if someone could help. My husband and I are currently in between countries as we change jobs and will be spending 1 month to 6 weeks in Clapham. We have a 2.5 year old and are desperate for her to interact, play and be with other children! Does anyone know any nurseries or day care centres that take on children short term?? Thank you so much

Do you need full day childcare or will one of you be at home and you just want some socialising for her?

If the former... try the Baby Drop on Webbs Road, they are an ad hoc creche.

If the latter... There are loads of playgroups and kids activities but she would need an adult with her. Alternatively you could try the local nursery schools - for example the Fruity Tree nursery school has just opened near Clapham South, they are brand new so may be willing to give you a space for a short term timeframe?

You would certainly be able to find a childminder who offered short-term care.

Have a look at kidsfusion at latchmere leisure centre. Recently revamped they seem to have a variety of childcare options. I haven't used t personally but it seems to have some positive reviews and might just be of interest!
