Dear family,
My name is Marie, I’m 23 (24 in few weeks) and I’m french.
I already had two experiences as an au pair, the first one was in Sydney, Australia during 4 months and I was taking care of 4 children. I really liked this experience and I loved spending time with them. The second one was in Brisbane, Australia, I was taking care of two beautiful girls during 3 months. It was just a wonderful time and I really was part of the family.
I would really love to have a new opportunity to be aupair, indeed, I do think that it would be a great experience, very interesting and fulfilling. My previous experiences as a baby sitter and with my lovely cousins made me love taking care of kids, playing and spending time with them. I had the basis of English when I went to Australia so I improved my English and I really want to improve it more with a new family.
I obviously speak French, but also Spanish fluently. To my mind being aupair is a very effective way of learning a language while discovering a whole new country and culture at the same time, and meeting a ‘new family’.
Then, I’m found of travelling which might very well be my biggest passion in life. Discovering a culture, landscapes, meeting people, are the most important things to me.
By being au pair I discovered a new way of travelling and I enjoyed it so I'll really love to do it again. If I were to describe me in a few words, I would say that I’m smiling, dynamic, patient and a very good listener. I also love to have fun with kids while doing various activities. However, I also know how to be serious when it is necessary for helping doing homework, or doing some choirs in the house for example.
