Any childcare recommendations for Canary Wharf or Blackheath?

Postby Balhamberry » Tue Apr 12, 2016 11:24 am

My work colleague has an almost two year old son who is in nursery close to Canary Wharf, where we work. However, she is very, very unhappy with the quality of care and would like to urgently move her son to an alternative nursery, or a childminder. She lives in Blackheath, so is desperately looking for nursery places in either location.

I know this is outside of NV territory, but does anyone have any recommendations for either nurseries or childminders in the Canary Wharf or Blackheath?

Thanks v much!

I know people who use Little Unicorns in canary wharf and are happy with it.

The kid is still to young, but from 3 river house Montessori runs a pre school which is really excellent.

Thank you ladies. My friend does already have her son's name down at the Montessori (she has also heard amazing things about it!) - she is just very reluctant to keep him in his current nursery for another full year . . .
Will also pass on the recommendation about Little Unicorns.

Little Unicorns is located right in central Canary Wharf and therefore super convenient for working mums. The drawback is that it is in the shopping mall and therefore not very close to pleasant outdoor green space. However, I guess it is good choice for people who need an urgent option for good child care.
