LOOKING FOR A LIVE IN HOUSEKEEPER POSTION

Postby nappyvalley » Tue Apr 26, 2016 9:30 am

Hello, I am a housekeeper with seven years of experiences working as a live in housekeeper for English families currently looking for a new position preferably with separate accommodation.
Lots of experience with children and dogs. However, I am not looking for a purely childcare position.
I have EU passport, DBS, NIN, references. I am not a driver.
If you are interested please contact me for more detailed information. Thank you.

Hi Emilia

Ive just begun to research the possibility of taking on a live in housekeeper and would appreciate your thoughts on my situation and if it were of any interest.
We are currently a family of 5, with a dog living in Wimbledon village very close to the common. Ive just found out that I am pregnant with my 4th child and have decided to try and prepare for this addition a little better than the previous 3. They are aged 8, 6, and 4 and I managed the 3 alone plus dog with just a weekly cleaner. I love being with my children so always fought away the need to have help but admittedly as the sleep deprivation and constant energy levels took their toll I more recently resorted to a daily cleaner, which I consider the ultimate luxury! However, with number 4 on the way and my older childrens needs ever changing, I thought it might be worth considering taking on a live in housekeeper instead. Primarily the role would be to maintain the house to the highest standard but with an element of childcare intermittently and maybe for evening babysitting once or twice a week. My current cleaner works 15 hours per week (3 hours per day) cleaning and ironing throughout. We have a basement flat with separate kitchen and shower room to offer a potential candidate. I think moving forward we would be looking at possibly 20 hours per week to include babysitting initially and then possibly more once the new baby is born in December. Im not looking for anyone until September, would this be of interest and if so what kind of salary would you be looking for?
