Hello,
I am replying as the mother of two boys who at 12 would have wanted to be charging around outside doing something involving a ball. But on the off-chance that it might appeal, I'm just flagging up our Start to Cook cooking course for 11 -15 year olds. We have had a few enquiries about possible dates in half-term so let me know if you are interested because we are probably going to schedule one in. Of course, girls are very welcome too.
Here is a link to the course description (though this date is obviously an old one)

Here's what one of our lovely customers said:
"They both really really enjoyed it, Thank you! He was so taken with his new recipes that he called me at work to say he was cooking supper! 5 of us have enjoyed a starter of ham, cheese, tomato sauce grilled wrap followed by pasta, The Cookhouse’s tomato sauce and broccoli. What a treat and how fantastic to see him wanting to cook. Thank you!”

We're running 2 camps this half-term, our ever popular Multi-Sport kids camp AND a Football camp which is being run by an ex-professional footballer.

A great way to spend a morning outside!

Our camps run from 9:30-12:30 on Wandsworth Common in the Dog Free area by the Skylark Cafe.

Hi ladies,

We are running a Superhero themed Street Dance & Art course at The Bedford in Balham next week, that I think would be perfect!

MAY HALF TERM HOLIDAY COURSE - SUPERHERO THEME!

Get ready for 4 full mornings of super hero fun! Jam packed with fancy dress, dancing, games, arts, crafts and meeting some of their action heroes, this half term course promises to be the best one yet! Perfect for kids aged 4-12, whether your son loves all things Spiderman or your daughter is itching to create a magical Frozen Super Girl (Incredible Elsa anyone?). We can’t wait to take the May Half Term to another galaxy!

What should I expect at a Funky Moves Holiday Course?

The kids arrive and straight away are greeted by our Funky Moves team with colouring and quizzes to keep them occupied. They are split into 2 teams based on their ages and are introduced to their Funky Mover who will look after them for the four days. The day is split up into different activities (arts & crafts, learning their dance, games, surprise activities) and the kids are given drinks and snack breaks throughout. Often, we will all come together at the end of the day, to show the other teams what we have been doing that morning or to share how our dances are progressing. There is a real community feel and all the kids become part of the Funky Moves family for the week. On the final day, we combine our arty creations and dance routines to showcase a performance spectacular for all the friends and families of the children - it really is a wonderful climax to the week. The emphasis is on fun, friends and of course funkiness…

Dates: Tuesday 31st May - Friday 3rd June 2016
Times: 9.30am-12.30 pm each day
Aged 4 –12 years
Location: The Bedford, 77 Bedford Hill, Balham, SW12 9HD
*NEW* 2016 REDUCED PRICE OF £95!
