I’m looking for a live in nanny to be sole charge to my three children (2 girls (11 months and 5) and a boy (3)). My husband and I work full-time and you would be required to work 7am - 6pm weekdays but would be free to do your own thing in the evenings and on weekends subject to only occasional babysitting (eg 2x a month). This isn’t a live in role where you are always on call or the parents are always adding to your hours!!
My daughter attends school and my son goes to nursery 3 mornings/week but will go 5 mornings/week from September. So the days are busy but there is plenty of down time particularly as my 3 year old still naps in the afternoon.
The children have very loving characters and will warmly welcome their new nanny. They enjoy indoor activities (puzzles, drawing, role play) and the outdoors (riding scooters and bikes, digging in the garden, playing garden games). They love each other and we encourage them to support and respect each other which has worked well so far.
Ideally you will have had some experience in a live in role or will have suitable qualifications which demonstrate your commitment to a career in childcare and can provide excellent references. As it’s a live in role, the right fit is key and we would like someone who is kind, caring and can bring some fun to the children’s lives as well as being respectful of the parent’s privacy.
You will need to be a confident driver (we supply an auto car) for the school and nursery run as they are not within walking distance.
Living accommodation is of a very high standard. We live in a very large, detached house which we gutted and renovated last year so everything is new save for the original features we kept. We provide a large, double sized bedroom with oak floors and fitted wardrobe. You will have an ensuite with marble mosaic floor and rain head shower which is new. You are likely to spend most of your working hours in the open plan kitchen/living area which has lots of natural light from both ends and has underfloor heating for chilly days. It leads onto a big terrace and garden which the children love playing in.
Looking for someone to start in June/July but we can be flexible and know you may have a notice period. We are happy to wait for the right person but you would need to start by September.
Pay depends on experience but is in line with London rates.
Please get in touch for more information, photos etc.
