We are a busy, lively family with two boys who are very energetic , love the outdoors and swimming, being on their bikes and playing together. Myself and my husband have full time jobs so we need someone kind, caring and fun to look after them in our absence. They are bundles of energy so you too will need to be energetic and have a 'can-do' attitude. Ideally i would like someone who has a young brother and knows how to handle young boys .
We currently live in tooting bec which is 35 minutes from central london by tube but we may be moving to Streatham which is the same distance to central london but by train. I usually take the boys to school before going onto work - they are both at a school a few miles from home so need collecting after school. Some days they have after school clubs , others not. The boys are pretty independent but would need meals preparing for them and homework to be supervised. sometimes you would also need to put them to bed .
Your main tasks would be to collect the boys from school or after school clubs , take them home safely by public transport . You would need to supervise homework. My eldest is moving into his final year of primary school so a good working knowledge of english is vital. You would also need to be able to make tasty dinners and look after them until myself or my husband come home.
In the mornings you need to get them up and ready for school, which means breakfast and then getting them their uniform and helping them get their bags ready. As I usually take them to school, you would be free during the day until school pick up time. During the week, we would ask you to babysit two nights during the week .
