Spanish-speaking Mums Group

Postby Lydia84 » Tue Aug 09, 2016 12:16 pm

Hello
I am a bilingual mother of two (2 and 5 months) trying to raise the little ones to speak Spanish in an otherwise English speaking home. My 2 year old now speaks words in both languages and is beginning to speak Spanish to me and English to my husband. It is difficult though! I am wondering if there are other Spanish speaking mums out there who would like to meet, chat and share tips on raising bilingual kids? It would be great for the little ones to be exposed to the language and it's always nice to meet new people!
Let me know if you're interested and we can get something going.
Thanks,
Lydia

Good evening,
We are an italian family. Our nanny is spanish as we would like that our daughter learns spanish too. She is 2 and 7 months. We would be happy if our daughter could attend playgroup sessions with other kids that are learning spanish because playing togheter they can learn enjoying also! Please let me know if you have found any playgroup in Clapham area/nannies or mums to meet!
Mary
