Sofabed/futon recommendation Post Reply

I wondered if anyone has a recommendation for a good value sofabed or futon for a spare room? The kids will watch TV on it and it will occasionally be used as a guest bed at Christmas etc.

I've heard that putting a memory foam topper on them does wonders for comfort levels and I can't really justify a properly pricey sprung one at the moment. Does anyone have a sofabed or futon that they rate? I've looked at Made/Ikea/The Futon Co and John Lewis and they all have reasonably priced options but any specific recommendations very welcome.

I used Futon Co for 3 sofa beds so far...Very good if you like this type of mattresses.
