Has anyone had a Flip Out birthday party?

Postby SarahJ » Mon Sep 05, 2016 5:36 pm

Am thinking of organising a Flip Out birthday party for my 6 year old daughter and 20 friends. Has anyone organised or been to one of these? What's it like?
Does it actually feel like a party in any way or are they all just bouncing alone? Are they likely to injure themselves? Is the party room ok?

Grateful for any feedback! Many thanks.

I had a joined birthday there for my daughter (6) and her friend at the end of May. I had booked before they had opened so i must say the week before it it all felt a little disorganised to the point where the other mum and I dropped there to be able to actually talk to someone re: organisation. The party was booked for 11am.

On the day though and I want to stress that very clearly they delivered. It was top class service. Honestly for the price (expensive enough we agree) they went beyond our expectations.

Just worth noting:
The mother and I arrived at 10.15am to get all the socks and wristbands.
The husbands brought the birthday girls and their siblings for 10.45 at the same time we had told their friends to come. When they arrived we had a big bag for shoes, gave them the socks and put the wristbands on. They watched the video and off they went.
The waivers were signed under my name a couple of days prior. I had sent an email to all parents asking for one of them or carer to stay with their child and to say that although we ve signed the waiver we were not taking responsibilities. We did the waivers ourselves for easyness.

It was great. They all played together in the big ones or in the pool area. They had so much fun and so did we. Some parents paid for themselves to jump most of them didnt. We had a tab so they were all able to get coffee or tea.

Foodwent on time including a gluten free one. All we had to do was to bring the cake.

The easiest party ever and we were superstars for our daughters who loved it a lot.

Have fun! PS: i dont work for them just had a great time.

Yes, did I 5 year old's party in June. Kids loved it. Thought the food was actually good compared to other places. Kids were randomly delighted to be able to keep their special socks. Only things I would recommend is:
- tell everyone to arrive 15 mins early to get them checked in (and deal with unsinged waivers etc)
- label all the kids so staff know which party they are with (it's chaos in there and easy to lose them)
