Disposal of iron/toaster

Postby cuqui03 » Mon Oct 10, 2016 11:15 am

Hello! Trying to figure out how to dispose of these two items that have stopped working and is not worth the money to get them repaired. I do not have a car so not easy to just go to the council tips and don't want to just hide them in trash bags. Ideas? They are clearly not bulky so paying £30 for the council to collect seems over the top.
thanks

Just came across this!

There is a recycling box for small electrical items by Clapham Common tube station. Also there are a lot of recycling boxes just behind Sainsbury's in Balham but I don't know if they have one for small electrical items.
