Delayed private school year start for August baby's Post Reply

Hi

I was wondering if anyone had experience of delaying the school year for late summer born babies in private schools around Wandsworth/Balham. We have our little boy down for some schools but are thinking of starting him a year later as he is a very late August birthday.
Has anyone delayed the school year and how easy/hard was it and at which private schools?

Join the FB group 'flexible school admissions for summer borns.' Our independent school wasn't keen on delaying a whole year but agreed to a January start. We were already parents at the school.
