Naked Restaurant

Postby Sarajojo » Tue Nov 01, 2016 7:30 pm

Hiya,

My husband says he has booked us into the new naked restaurant (link below) for his birthday next week. Just wondering has anybody been there yet? Can anyone who has been there offer any tips? I'm starting to feel quite anxious about the whole thing..... who will see me?

I haven't been but the reviews say nakedness isn't compulsory!

It looks like you change into a fluffy robe when you arrive, and can take it off during the meal if you want - but I would be keeping it firmly on and probably wearing a vest underneath for good measure!

This is Cat is right - you don't take your robe off until after you get into your 'booth', then it's candle-lit. De-robing is also optional.

For what it's worth, I think it's a pretty cool present - tables are incredibly hard to come by, so your DH has done well to get one!

Have fun :)

I would tell him you dont feel comfortable about the idea and ask him to book somewhere that will be enjoyable for both of you. Surely he knows you well enough to know that this wasn't your thing so why book it?

Why would you want to be naked having your dinner? I don't get the concept. I'm pretty sure that soup and sizzling prawns will be off the menu! :o  :?

Ha!

Well fair-dos to your Husband for booking something "different".

However, although I would feel a tad uncomfortable exposing my own hide, my main concern would be catching glimpses of other people's wobbly and dangly bits whilst trying to enjoy my main course...eeek!

hi all,

This is cat you were indeed right, much to my delight, you don't de-robe until after you are seated in your private booth... And then only if you want to. Denwand don't worry, the way the booths are set up there's very little chance of seeing other peoples dangly bits (though not impossible...ha). All in all it was a strange experience and got me well out of my clothes and comfort zone (which I now know was my husbands sole intention). Would recommend highly for those of you with an adventurous spirit...
