Sorry I can't actually help you myself but you could always have a look in Fara in Northcote Road or the Salvation Army shop in Balham as they have had double buggies and could have what you want. Even if it is just to tide you over until yours is mended or you find what you really want, they could have one and you could donate it back when you have finished using it.
