Tax Free Childcare

Postby Polster21 » Wed Jul 26, 2017 10:55 am

Has anyone successfully navigated this?! I've registered and now have bank accounts to pay into for each of my children.

However, we use an ofsted registered nanny for the children (4.5 and nearly 2). Do I need to be aportioning what childcare the nanny is doing for each child (i.e. the older one will be at school in Sept so its not 50:50) or can I just, for example pay everything into one child's account and pay out from that and until the point at whci I've used £10,000 which is the max I think and then at that point start to use the other child's account?

Also, if circs change, can you remove money at will from the accounts? Wondering if it would be easier just to pay a lump sum into both accounts rather than paying on a monthly basis.

Finding this all a bit confusing!!

Thanks
