Non-chocolate easter gifts?

Postby kewty » Mon Apr 18, 2011 8:50 am

Hi

I am looking to get an easter gift for my nephew (2yrs), but as he will be getting enough chocolate, want to get him a little something easterish, but not chocolate.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Kx

Last year I didn't want my son (who was 15mths) to be given chocolate. He got a very cute cuddly toy from his Granny. It's a kind of egg-shaped rabbit. He loved it, and still does.

Continuing the egg theme, elc do an egg & spoon race kit. And I've seen eg decorating kits around, but he might be a smidge young for that just yet.

My parents have sent a book for my 10 week old son. Peter Rabbit, I think (we're yet to open it...)

We have succesfully given our children in the past, Playmobil in Egg shaped box, playmobil bunnies and egg set, lego/duplo in Egg shaped box, hama bead set with eggs and chicks (bit old for a 2 yr old). cuddly toy rabbits, Easter crafts book and lots of stickers/card to go with it. Hope that helps.

Easter is the perfect time to teach your kids about gardening - here's an ideal Easter gift you can plant with the kids and then watch them grow into pretty flowers, whilst helping to maintain our very important bee population. http://bit.ly/hg4HR9
