Tow bar fitting?

Postby 2009Kat » Tue Nov 28, 2017 4:15 pm

Does anyone have any recommendations of somewhere local to fit a tow bar to a car? Called local dealership and they quoted ££££££ so looking for someone a bit more reasonable.....
Thanks in advance!

Thank you - Halfords say they can't fit our car and not sure Kwik Fit do tow bars but will give them a call...

Hello,

I was quoted by the mobile service "Towbar2u" as following;

"The price for a fixed towbar with single 7pin universal electrics is £255.00 including VAT and fully fitted at home or place of work."

This was about 50% cheaper than my Audi dealer (I have an Audi A3) but in the end I didn't use them so can't comment on the quality of their work - seemed very reasonable to me and would have been fitted at your home.... http://www.towbar2u.com/

ASTowbars quoted £460 as a visiting service

Again I stress I never used them but the savings on dealer fit are quite considerable.

Good luck

Ross
