Hearing test and speech therapy

Hi - my son is just about to turn 5. His school has recommended that he has a hearing test and possibly also speech therapy. Can you recommend somewhere locally I can get a hearing test done and also local recommendations for a speech therapist. Thanks

Contact your GP or HV - they can refer you

You can actually refer yourself. I called and referred by five year old daughter. We had an assessment within 4 weeks and are off for a hearing test next week. Now waiting for the actual therapy sessions to be offered.

Dr Alberque at St George’s was fantastic with my daughters Glue Ear, honestly I can’t recommend the ENT team there enough, absolutely excellent.
