LOST - soft Harrods dog toy

Postby Mummyoftwins » Mon May 09, 2011 5:22 pm

Hello
I'm desperate! Have just come back from shopping on Battersea Rise/St John's Road and have realised that my son has lost his 'my first puppy' soft toy from Harrods :( (at the moment I am more devastated that him, but once he realises, I'm sure he'll join me!) I retraced my steps, but to no avail. We only actually went into M&S, but I did go in and ask.
If you were wonderful enough to pick it up, or you're a shop owner and it was handed in, please do let me know. Not sure if this link is going to work but this is what it looks like (although not so sparkling clean!) http://www.harrods.com/product/harrods/ ... -soft-toys
Many thanks
Laura

Oh no, poor you, and your poor son. I'm going through the same thing at the moment (posted about it yesterday), so know exactly how you feel.

Cast the net as wide as you can. I also recommend posting on streetlife. One of the posters there had actually seen my son's teddy yesterday, but it'd gone by the time I got there.

Hi Mrs Amanda
Thanks so much for the tip - duplicate message posted on Streetlife!
So sorry to hear you are in the same predicament - really hope luck is on your side and you are reunited soon!
I've just had to buy another one online (along with a cat for his twin sister, just in case the same happens to her), so I hope they arrive soon.

At least you've got a new one coming in case Puppy is having such an adventure he doesn't want to come home.

Mothercare had the cheek to discontinue Bear, so I'm trawling ebay to find replacement. Thank heavens ebay exists!

Oh, and I also posted about it on local NCT Facebook page.

You've been so helpful - thanks so much :)

The nerve of Mothercare not to do your son's teddy! Good luck with your search on ebay. Have you found anything yet?
