Where to give brand new toys? for age 1-4 years

Postby JamTart » Sun Jul 22, 2018 1:30 pm

Clearing out our loft I have found an embarrassing quantity of brand new toys and books suitable for ages 1-4 years - farmyard, foam floor tiles, soft toys, garage. Any ideas who I could donate these to? E.g. a cash-strapped playgroup, hospital ward. Welcome your suggestions. Everything must go!

I'm sure https://littlevillagehq.org would appreciate them.

Hi,
That is really kind of you! I’m sure Contact a Family (for families of children with disabilities) would be interested - they are off Garrett Lane. Otherwise there is the play room at St George’s Hospital on the 5th floor.

The Evelina Children's hospital would also love toys I imagine - they make a huge difference (speaking personally) to the children there.
